About Lila

My name is Lila, and I have been creating for as long as I can remember.
One of my earliest memories is sitting beside my Italian grandfather, drawing together at the table. I would proudly sketch people with their arms coming straight out of their heads, and he would gently protest before showing me how to make them “proper.” Those moments—full of laughter, correction, and imagination—sparked something in me that never left. Since then, I have always created. Painting, drawing, sculpting, printing, crafting—each medium a different doorway into expression. I’ve always loved the magic of making the internal world external.
I studied Communication Design at Northbrook University in the UK and later completed a postgraduate certificate in education, qualifying to teach art and design to young adults. I spent a short period working at the university where I studied before life led me to relocate to the Netherlands.
Here, I became a mother to two beautiful, creative, and incredibly bright children who inspire me every day. Alongside motherhood, I find deep fulfillment in gardening, reading, creative writing (you can explore more of that on my blog linked here), and swimming. I am a mermaid at heart—I feel most myself when moving with the rhythm of the water. Nature is my sanctuary; it brings me peace, clarity, and a sense of returning home.
I am both a deep thinker and a deep feeler, and I truly believe that everyone is creative. Creativity doesn’t belong only to artists—it lives in music, in writing, in movement, in conversation. We all carry a creative essence within us. My passion is helping those who are willing to discover their unique creative voice—and to use that voice to explore emotion, to understand what sits inside, what fills them, and what moves them. This understanding deepened through my Therapeutic Art Coach certification, which I completed in 2025.
In a world that can feel increasingly disconnected, it is a privilege to help people reconnect—not only with themselves, but with those around them. As social beings, we are designed for connection. We deserve spaces where we can express, feel, create, and be seen.
Fill this space with me, and you may be amazed at what you can create in your life.
With love,
Lila
